Little Archie was being very naughty and tried to stealthily sneak up the stairs. But when he got up to the fourth step, he looked back and realized how high he was from the ground. All the sudden he got really scared. He wanted to climb down the massive steps but his little legs were just too short.
He tried to reach the step below but he was scared that he might lose his balance and tumble down the stairs like Humpty Dumpty. He didn’t know what to do and got more scared. He looked to the right and left and up and down for someone to rescue him.
Finally he whimpered then cried “Please help me!!!”. Luckily Gaga and Momo heard him. But instead of carrying him down the stairs, they thought little Archie should be brave and learn to climb down the stairs by himself. Archie didn’t like that idea one bit. He complained it was impossible! He grumbled that his legs were too short! He got really really frustrated that they won’t just carry him down the stairs! Finally when Momo stood just one step below him, Archie thought the steps weren’t as dangerous as before!
He reached out his little paw and stretched with every bit of muscle he had….and he COULD touch the step below! He then reached out his other little paws and slide them one by one down to the step below. Grumbling and complaining as he slowly work himself off the stairs, little Archie was still mad at Gaga and Momo for putting him through this horrible ordeal. He thought of a little evil revenge. On the last step, he leaped with deadly accuracy towards Gaga’s slippers like a leopard lunging for his prey. In one single bite, he snatched Gaga’s slipper and ran away with it to demonstrate his dissatistfaction towards the sisters.
Take that...hmmph!
